Reed Huppman has over 30 years’ experience in international environmental and social consulting, particularly related to major project development. His sector experience encompasses mining; oil and gas; major infrastructure projects; agricultural operations; and forestry and watershed management in over 50 countries in North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He holds an MS in Fluvial Geomorphology/Plant Ecology/Environmental Engineering from the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, and a BS in Geology from Boston University.
Reed worked with SustainaMetrix on the case study for IUCN “Understanding IUCN’s Role in Unlocking Finance for Forest landscape Restoration”, which was considered the model case study of the three commissioned.
Reed has wanted to work outside since he was a child, and, at age 5, planned to be a farmer.
