Ed Harlow

Saxophonist, composer, educator Ed Harlow has been based in the greater Boston area since 1987. He has toured the US, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Brazil, France and the Caribbean with groups such as The Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Artie Shaw Orchestra and Volo Volo de Boston. Mr. Harlow has also performed with notable artists such as Tony Bennett, The Temptations, Johnny Mathis and Paquito D'Rivera. Harlow has fifteen publications with Advance Music and his third recording as a leader is due in 2017. Mr. Harlow has been a clinician/performer at the Panama Jazz Festival since 2014. Ed brings to SustainaMetrix the lyrical, cultural and artistic side of the work of responding to ecosystem change. If we are to work together and transform systems, we need methods that feature improvisation, harmony and rhythm.
